Fluidic Technology – Stemdrive Mixer
Fluidic technology is tried and tested, based on the principle of using fluids to provide control for, and power to, other fluids.
Fluidic Mixers take advantage of the general principles, providing a unique solution to fluid and semi-fluid transfer problems.
They use a pressurised fluid (typically compressed air) to generate a motive force on the media to be mixed.
There are no other power connections and no moving parts.
Fluid Dynamic Data
In collaboration with Strathclyde University and the Advanced Forming Research Centre, Stemdrive have been able to verify their calculations, obtained over the last 25 years of operation.
Stemdrive continue to work closely with Strathclyde University & the AFRC to further develop the fluid dynamic data obtained to cover the widest range of scenarios.
