Continued Success – Achilles UVDB Category B2

November 2016 –  STEM Drive Ltd is pleased to announce its recent success in achieving an improved score following reassessment for Achilles UVDB Category B2 Verify Accreditation.

AUGUST NEWS

This month started of extremely busy and got even busier when we received invitations to tender for major contracts in Dubai & Israel. We have also recently dispatched mixers to one of our clients for installation on a Thames Water Site.

The new TH plant at Howdon has a design capacity of over 40,000tds/annum and can process all the indigenous sludge arising at Howdon and any imported sludge cake from satellite sites

JULY NEWS

A busy period for us, we have recently shipped packaged mixing systems to two Welsh Water sites. These will be installed by framework contractors.

This week we have carried out an installation at Yorkshire Water’s Knostrop site, where the annual shutdown provided a short window of opportunity to install mixing equipment into a sludge holding tank, this was achieved from outside the tank, removing a requirement for ‘Confined Space Entry’ working.

Contract for Thames Water

STEM Drive have recently completed a contract for Thames Water at Rye Meads waste-water treatment works, replacing existing mixing nozzles in a sludge holding tank, with new updated models.

The existing nozzles had been in use since 2000, however, the new replacements will operate with a lower power requirement, helping to reduce operating costs while still providing efficient mixing.

It is hoped that adjacent tanks in the group will also have this upgrade carried out in the near future.
